Varun Tej to play two shades in his next

Hyderabad, Mar 22: The Tollywood Mega Prince Varun Tej who is basking in the glory of his previous offering Fidaa and Tholi Prema, has joined hands with Sagar Chandra for his next upcoming project.

Sagar Chandra,who has made socially thought-provoking films like Ayyare and Appatlo Okadundevaadu, recently narrated a script to Varun Tej and the actor who is impressed with the narration has given nod.

The upcoming entertainer will be bankrolled by Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta under 14 Reels Plus banner. According to a source, the film is deemed to be an action-packed love story.

The sources say that Varun Tej's character will have two shades in the film- as an action hero and a lover boy. As the movie also has an intense flashback sequence, Kanche actor Varun will be going for a rugged makeover for it. The regular shoot is expected to commence from August.

On the other side, Varun Tej will be next seen in Ghazi fame Sankalp Reddy's upcoming directorial venture, in which he is essaying astronaut. The director is currently giving final touches to the script and the team is also in the process of finalizing the rest of the cast and crew.
