New Delhi, Mar 22: Here's good news for Reliance JioPhone users as soon they will be able to experience WhatsApp on the 4G-enabled feature phone. Reliance JioPhone runs on KaiOS which doesn't offer support for WhatsApp.
According to the latest information from @WABetaInfo, a Twitter handle, which tracks the changes brought in by the latest WhatsApp beta versions, the Facebook-owned company is developing an app to function on KaiOS. Eventually, there are claims that JioPhone users will soon get to use WhatsApp on the device.
The feature is specially built for India and the personal assistant is available in both Hindi and English languages. This will bring an intuitive voice-based user interface along with a set of data services on the JioPhone. Interestingly, JioPhone already has an Ai-based voice assistant, which makes it easier to interact with the feature phone.
