CM KCR meets Mamata Banerjee over Third Political Front

Kolkata, Mar 19: The Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao met West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee in Kolkata here on Monday.

CM KCR, who has decided to tour the country to put up an alternative political front by uniting regional parties against BJP and the Congress Party has started from West Bengal since Mamata Banerjee was the first leader to extend support to the Third Front proposal at the national level.

In his meet, KCR will elaborate his plans to set up an alternative front to bring in a qualitative change in the country, apart from eliciting her views on the same.

Last week, Mamata had welcomed the move and urged all opposition parties to work closely together against the NDA.
