Telangana FM presents Peoples budget for 2018-19

Hyderabad Mar 15: The Telangana State Government has presented the budget in the state assembly. State Finance Minister Etela Rajender has read the budget speech.

The State budget has mainly focused on the Agriculture and welfare of the rural Economy and has allocated major funds. The BUdget has also focussed on Irrigation projects.

RS 12000 crore was allocated for the farmer input subsidy on fertilizers under this scheme RS 8000 would be given for farmer for two crops .

The finance minister has predicted a growth rate of 10.4 % and he said that I am happy that state has achieved double-digit growth in 4 years itself.

The Total EXpenditure of the budget is RS 1,74,453.84 Cr
Revenue expenditure RS 1,25,454.70 Cr
RS 5520 CR revenue surplus is projected
RS 29,0841 CR center funds are expected


The Budget has allocated funds for all sectors and has also focused on the welfare of the people and Minister has said this is peoples budget.
