Japan Company to set up Poultry unit in Telangana

Siddipet Mar 13: Another Major Group has decided to invest in Telangana . Japanese Company Japan-based Ise Foods Inc has decided to set up a poultry processing Unit in Telangana by May 2018.

The Company has inked an MOU with State Government for setting up a plant that has the capacity to process 300,000 birds. sources said that The Plant would also compromise facilities for advanced poultry farm, egg processing.

The Company has also decided to set up a captive solar plant, R&D center for Li-Ion batteries customized for Indian environment and training center for training on advanced aspects of poultry.

Ise has said that it "would invest Rs 230 crore for the plant, machinery, and building and will scale it up to Rs 300 crore over the next three to five years. The unit will provide employment to more than 300 people ."

Telangana government has decided to allocate land at Narmetta village in Nagunoor Mandal in Siddipet district for the production facility and solar plant for captive consumption.
