Indian Scientist on Antartica

Human Population is increasing and the land availability cannot increase. What can one do? The Human can invent a solution for better utilization of barren lands for construction and developmental works. However few people prefer deforestation for various reasons and this leads to rising in temperature level on the earth and this further leads to global climate change which is responsible for floods, droughts, and pollution.

The Global Warming has resulted in the melting of ice in Antartica continent and as a result, the sea level has increased and recently an ice mass has separated from the continent and has drifted apart. The use of pollutants has also destroyed the ozone layer which protects the earth from Ozone layers.

In order to find out solutions, the National Centre for Antarctic Ocean Research planned an expedition of Scientists to Antartica to study the effect of global warming on the continent this Month.

Hyderabad Scientist M Shekhar from National Geophysical Research (NGRI) is also participating in the group . He has taken many training sessions to adjust to the climatic situations of the Antartica.

Finally, the scientists believe that their exploration would help them in finding solutions for the global climate change and ensure that ice doesn't melt and the sea level doesn't rise.
