SC slams Investigative Agencies for delay in 2G case

New Delhi Mar 12: The Supreme Court on Monday ahs directed Investigative Agencies such as CBI and ED to complete all the investigations related to the 2G Spectrum case within 6 months as it was pending for many years.

The apex court has slammed the Agencies for the delay in investigation and asked whether there was any invisible hand involved in stopping the probe.

The court has also directed the agencies to file a status report in illegal FIPB Clearance of Aircel Maxis case and fixed the next date of hearing on April 2.

Finally, the court has said that "the People can't be kept in the dark with regard to investigations on sensitive matters such as the 2G spectrum related cases."
