Congress announces names for RS

Kolkata Mar 12: The Congress has announced the nominations for the Rajyasabha elections. The elections would be held on March 23.The Congress has fielded candidates from different states.

Total of 11 candidates was announced by Congress. The List includes Abhishek Manu Singhvi the lawyer of karti Chidambaram who has been arrested in INX Media FIPB Clearances.

The Congress has also dcecided to field Balaram Naik from Telangana even though it doesn't have majority support.

Sources said that Congress would lose its majority in the upper house and the BJP would gain as it has won many states after 2014 elections .
