KC custody extended

Delhi Mar 9: Currently the Trouble for Karti Chidambaram is mounting as the court has extended the custody of KC by 3 more days and he would be again produced on Mar 12. Earlier the CBI has sought an extension of 6-day custody of the son of former Finance Minister P Chidambaram.

The CBI has said that fresh evidence has emerged in the case and sought permission to confront him with his CA Bhaskaran in Tihar jail who was arrested in the Money Laundering Case.

Earlier the CBI had also moved an Application to move Peter Mukherjee, Indrani Mukherjee to Delhi and they may be asked to identify the spot where they have to meet Karti Chidambaram and P Chidambaram.

However, KC got relief from the HIgh court has it has ordered ED not to arrest him till Mar 20.
