Tendulkar wishes his "batting hero"

Mumbai, Mar 08: Indian Cricket Legend, Sachin Tendulkar, who himself is an inspiration to many, has an idol whom he calls his batting hero.

His hero is none other than the West Indies Cricket legend Vivian Richards, who turned 66 on Wednesday.

Sachin Tendulkar shared his photograph along with the former on micro-blogging site Twitter, wishing him a very happy birthday.

Richards played in an era where fast bowlers, particularly from the Caribbean, were devastating for the batsmen. He represented West Indies in 121 Tests, scoring 8,540 runs at 50.23 with the help of 24 centuries and 45 fifties.
