Centre shocking decision on tax exemptions to AP

Amaravati Mar 7: Currently the Politics in Andhra Pradesh have reached a crucial stage and all parties are protesting for special Status for the state. Recently there are reports that the center had categorically rejected the proposal of special category status.

The Central government had replied to some of the questions raised by YSRCP Party in the Rajayasbaha about special tax exemptions granted to special category states after the commencement of GST.

The MOS Finance Minister has said that "currently no tax exemptions have been given to the special category state after GST and currently there is no special category status ".

Finance Minister sources have also indicated that center would only grant the special package for the AP as many states would request the same and it is not possible.
