Jordan king Abdullah attends Muslim Conference

New Delhi Mar 2: A Foreign leader has arrived in India. Jordan King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein has visited India for a 3-day visit and PM Modi had received him at the airport on Tuesday.

The Jordan leader had held talks with PM during his 3-day visit and have discussed major issues . The king has attended the 'Islamic Heritage: Promoting Understanding and Moderation' in the national capital on Thursday.

Speaking at the Conference Jordan leader has said that "Ideologies of hate distort the word of God. Faith is supposed to draw humanity together.We must protect strangers like we protect our own. We need to have dialogue to continue our efforts in upholding peace. We can't afford to allow young people to be left without hope when we do have the power to draft a better future".

Later the Leader has left the country and his visit assumes significance because PM Modi has visited him during his visit to Palestine in February and has held discussions on various issues.
