Suresh Babu :Theatre strikes to help Movies in Future

Hyderabad Mar 2: The Fans in South India are in a disappointment from Today as the producers and distributors in South India have decided to call for a strike against Digital Service Providers and all the theatres have been shut down from Friday.

Tollywood Producer Suresh Babu has addressed a Meeting and said that "All the south Indian Film chambers of commerce which includes producers and distributors from Tollywood, Tamil (Kollywood), Malayalam (Mollywood), Kannada (Sandalwood) have constituted a JAC and I am Chairperson ".

He said that "currently there is no VPF for English Movies and it is being charged for regional Movies and we have urged them to remove the VPF fee for movies."

Producer has also said that "The Advertisements time have also crossed limits and currently 20 minutes advertisements are being displayed."

He said that "The strike would end when the DSPs such as Qube, UFO, PXD, pay rocks,proviz and other companies would agree to our demands ."

He has also said that "our intention is not to hurt movie Producers and would help in future especially small movies."
