Indigo launches Seven additional flights in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Feb 28: IndiGo, India's largest and fastest growing carrier, on Wednesday launched seven additional flights on its domestic network.

Effective, March 25, IndiGo will operate two direct daily flights on Hyderabad-Nagpur-Hyderabad sector, three direct daily flights on Hyderabad-Mangalore-Hyderabad sector and effective May 1, 2018 two direct daily flights on Chennai-Mangalore-Chennai sector.

These flights will be operated on the brand new ATR 72-600 aircraft to be inducted in the 155 aircraft strong fleet of IndiGo, a company statement here said.

With the introduction of these seven flights, IndiGo strengthens its ATR operations by connecting two southern metros with tier-II cities of Nagpur and Mangalore. Booking for these flights is open effective from Wednesday.

Commenting on the expansion, IndiGo's spokesperson Wolfgang Prock-Schauer said, "At IndiGo, we are continuously striving to expand deeper into the heartland with our new ATR fleet operations. These new connections will further bolster our position, reiterating our commitment to connect passengers of tier-II and tier-III cities on our 6E network. We are hopeful that these flights will provide more choices of air travel to millions of our fellow citizens."
