Nagarjuna's 'Officer' inspired by 'Taken'?

Hyderabad, Feb 28: The super hit team of Nagarjuna and Ram Gopal Varma have joined forces for the fourth time for the Telugu fiction thriller, "Officer". The film has been the talk of the showbiz as the duo are back together after delivering critically acclaimed films like Shiva, Antham and Govinda Govinda.

The movie marks their latest collaboration after more than one decade. Touted to be an intense crime thriller, the film is said to be inspired from the action entertainer, ‘Taken.’ Directed by Pierre Morel, it had popular actors Liam Neeson, Maggie Grace and Famke Janssen playing lead roles.

The movie will showcase Nagarjuna essaying the role of a badass cop. The film is all set for a grand release on May 25
