Intermediate Exams start in Telangana

Telangana Feb 28: The Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) in Telangana have commenced today on a peaceful note. The exam which began at 9 am, concluded at 12 noon.

Sources said that "A total of 4,55,635 students have registered for first-year second language paper-I and 1,294 exam centers have been arranged by the Board of Intermediate Education across the state for smooth conduct of exams."

The officials said that "The exam centers put in one minute late norm in force, however, students who turned up late were allowed to write the exam."

Earlier the exams were supposed to start from March 1 but was preponed to Feb 28.
