Bollywood actress Sridevi died of accidental drowning

Mumbai, Feb 26: On the morning of February 25, the world woke up to the heartbreaking news of the demise of Bollywood acting legend – Sridevi.

Here is the latest update that, Sridevi's funeral may get further delayed as the mortal remains are yet to be handed over to the family by Dubai-based Rashid Hospital.

According to sources, the doctors are checking her blood samples for any toxic substances. If everything checks out, her mortal remains will be given to her family.

Sridevi drowned in her bathtub following a cardiac arrest. Indian officials are doing the paperwork involved in the repatriation of the body from Dubai. Once the papers are ready, the body will be embalmed which takes around an hour.
