Trump Imposes New Restrictions on North Korea

Washington Feb 24: In a Move to further tighten the nose of North Korea The USA president on Friday has announced further sanctions on the Country. The new sanctions target the country's shipping and trading companies.

The USA President while speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) has announced that "sanctions against 27 entities and 28 ship vessels either registered or flagged in several countries, including North Korea, China, and Singapore."

He has added that "16 North Korean shipping companies and nine international shipping companies were added to the US sanctions' list."

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin has said that "The US is aggressively targeting all illicit avenues used by North Korea to evade sanctions, including taking decisive action to block vessels, shipping companies, and entities across the globe that work on North Korea's behalf".

Experts said that the new sanctions would further deplore the economic situation of North Korea as the country majorly depends on ship trading exports and imports.
