Committee members urged A.P Govt

Vijayawada, Dec 5 : Sree Potti Sriramulu Pavithrasruthi Parirakshana Samithi members and Telugu language parirakshana vedika protested at lenin centre demanding the Govt of state to look at Potti sriramulu memorial from falling in to the hands of local committees which are unauthorised.

Furtherly protesters said the Govt is responsible for taking care of the Potti sriramulu memorial and an officer should be appointed for digging out irregularities.

Jagadishwara Reddy, Convenor of Telugu Language Parirakshana Vedika said, "Potti Sriramulu was one of the greatest personalities of Andhra Pradesh. He sacrificed his life for state bifurcation. In memory of his sacrifice, the AP government at that time constructed a memorial in the place where he breathed his last,"

He also said "The memorial building is going into the hands of illegal committee who are trying to use it for their personal purposes. We should keep the memorial free from disputes ,".
