Delhi High Court sends IM Terrorist to Police Custody

New Delhi Feb 15: The Delhi High Court on Thursday has sent an alleged Indian Mujahideen terrorist to 25 days custody of Delhi Police. The terrorist was most wanted in connection with several blasts.He was arrested by the Delhi Police on Feb 13 at Indo- Nepal Border and was produced in the court last evening.

Khan is a most wanted terrorist and he has escaped 2008 Batla House encounter and is a major suspect in serial in Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, and Delhi in which several hundred were injured and killed.

Police said that "Khan was an alleged member of IM's Azamgarh (Sanjarmur) module and was based in Nepal where he was teaching at a school. His associate, Tauqueer, was arrested earlier by the Delhi Police in January this year".
