Two students killed after bike rams divider

Kurnool, Feb 11: In a tragic incident, Three friends riding on a motor bike met with a grave road accident in the early hours on Saturday.

The mishap took place near Samavesam of Telugu Baptist Churches (STBC) College wherein two persons died on the spot and another escaped with minor injuries.

The details reported that, The deceased were identified as Shyam (19) and Vikas (20), both pursuing Intermediate education.

According to the details provided by the Two Town police station Circle Inspector Degala Prabhakar, Shyam, Vikas and Vikram were friends. Shyam and Vikashave attended Vikram's birthday on Friday night and consumed beer at the party.

After the birthday party, the trio boarded a new Pulsar bike and were returning to their home. When they reached near the STBC College, the motorcycle hit road divider and they fell from the vehicle.

Shyam and Vikas suffered severe head injuries and died on the spot while Vikram escaped with minor injuries, said the CI.

We shifted the bodies to Kurnool General Hospital for autopsy and informed to the parents. A case has been filed and the investigation is underway, he said.
