Osmania University one of Best Universities

Hyderabad Feb 10: Osmania University has once again received Global recognition and has been ranked one among the top universities in India.Recently UK-based Times Higher Education Rankings has recognized Osmania University one among the top 1,000 universities of the world.

The university was ranked between 800 and 1,000 and the university stood in the same bracket last year too. The World University Rankings also came up with top universities in Asia and India. Osmania University fared well in those rankings as well.

In Asia University Rankings, the university was ranked between 250 and 300 ranks . In the Best Universities in India category, it was ranked 18th in higher education.

The university was placed in the ranking band of 800 and 1,000 with 33.9 scores in teaching, 8.4 in research, 14.5 in citations, 32.0 in industry income and 15.1 in international outlook.

The scores in teaching, citations and international outlook increased in comparison to last year. Research and industry income decreased.
