India's first elecric superbike launched

New Delhi Feb 9: A startup has launched India's first electric superbike and has being displayed in ongoing Auto Expo. EV startup Emflux has displayed its model. The major features of the bike are

# To be priced at between Rs 5-6 lakh
# powered by a 60kW motor and produces 84Nm of torque
# bike can go up 0 to 100kph in 3 seconds
# A city range of 200 km has been claimed with a highway range of 150 km (at 80 kph)
# 0-80 percent charge completing in 1hr 15mins


Sources said that "Emflux is another such company based in Bengaluru and formed by three individuals – Varun Mittal, Ankit Khatry and Vinay Raj Somashekhar."

Experts said that many more startups are ready to emerge in the electric vehicle segment so that the prices of these would come down in coming days.
