Hyderabad, Feb 07: As we knew that, The sensational director RGV's GST has been created a lot of buzz in the film Industry.

The Hyderabad Central Crime Station police has issued notices to director Ram Gopal Varma seeking his appearance and explanation in connection with a case booked against him about a fortnight ago.

However, with Varma informing the police that the date they suggested was inconvenient for him due to prior commitments, police are preparing a notice with a fresh date.

The notice was issued in the wake of women activists in the city lodging a complaint against Varma, alleging that his latest release 'God Sex and Truth' (GST), had obscene content and that it was derogatory to women.

Social activist Devi and other women had approached the Cybercrime police at the Central Crime Station here on January 25 and said the film, which features American adult star Mia Malkova, has "very obscene content which can have a negative impact on the society". The trailer too was 'obscene', they said, requesting the police to take necessary action.

Six snapshots of the film's trailer and other promotional content were submitted along with the complaint by Devi, who also alleged that Varma passed derogatory comments on her and other women who protested against the film.

The Cybercrime police then booked a case under the Information Technology Act and the Indian Penal Code and started a probe, as part of which the notice was issued.
