SC Issues notice to BCCI in Sreesanth life ban case

New Delhi Feb 5: The Supreme Court on Monday sought reply and has issued a notice to Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in the plea of Indian pacer S Sreesanth's appeal against his life ban in connection with the 2013 Indian Premier League (IPL) spot-fixing scandal.

The SC had asked the BCCI to reply within 4 weeks and also issued notices to COA.Earlier the Player had moved to the Supreme Court challenging the Kerala High Court's order in October wherein the fast bowler was asked to stay away from all cricketing activity conducted by the BCCI.

Sreesanth was banned by BCCI after he was arrested in IPL spot-fixing scandal but he was discharged in the criminal case against him.
