Balakrishna undergoes shoulder surgery

Hyderabad, Feb 04: The Tollywood hero Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna on Saturday underwent surgery successfully for the rotator cuff tear of the shoulder. He sustained the injury while he was shooting for the Gautamiputra Satakarni.

Doctors advised him to undergo surgery then after giving first aid. But the actor could not undergo the surgery because of his preoccupation with Jai Simha shooting.

As he started experiencing shooting pain for the past several days, he went to a private hospital on Saturday where doctors successfully conducted surgery on him. Doctors Deepti Nandanreddy and Asish Babulkar termed the surgery as successful.

The Jai Simha flick released for Sankranti this year under the direction of KS Ravi Kumar generated positive reviews at the box-office.

The hero performed dances and stunts a la heroes of younger generation to the enchantment of audience. Currently, he is shooting for NTR biopic under the direction of Teja.
