Sub Committee formed to boost Food processing in State

Hyderabad Feb 4 : In a Move to encourage food processing Industries Telangana CM KCR has held a review meeting with Ministers and has announced the formation of a Sub Committee to promote the sector.The committee will be constituted with four Ministers – Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, Etela Rajender, T Harish Rao and KT Rama Rao.

Earlier CM has said that "steps must be taken to Every Assembly constituency should have one food processing unit meeting to the local needs." cheif minister has also hoped that atleast 100 new food processing would be set up in the state.

The Cabinet panels mandate is to recommend measures to ensure support price for the crops grown in the State and check food adulteration. he has also assured that sepearte incentives would be given to establish the industries.
