UDAN scheme gets more wings ,More Regional  Airports to be connected

New Delhi Feb 2: Finance minister Arun Jaitley on Thursday has presented the budget.The Finance Minister has focused a lot on the Infrastructure creation. The Aviation sector has also received a special focus.

FM has said that "budgetary allocation of Rs73.31 crore has been made for Airports Authority of India (AAI) from Rs149.93 crore in 2017-18, AAI is to raise Rs4,086 crore."The FM had also announced creating infrastructure for seaplanes to boost connectivity.

Jaitley has said that " Government has already connected 16 new airports and aims to connect 56 unserved airports and 31 helipads."

Jaitley had also increased allocation for UDAN scheme which promotes regional connectivity and subsidized tickets so that common people would fly. Finally, the finance ministry has said that "we are allocating funds to ensure that a Hawai chappal phenewale be Hawai jarhj me ude".
