Deepika - Padmaavat: I got paid more than co-stars, I deserved it

Padmaavat came across many hurdles and has finally released. In an interview, when Deepika was asked about the threats she got due to Padmaavat and the actors replied that "You can take my feet. I like my nose." replying to the threat by some who said they will chop-off her nose.

She wasn't shy in accepting that she got paid more than her co-stars in the film. She said, "I think I deserve it." "It's not about deserving more than somebody else, it’s about deserving what I think is right about myself," added Deepika.

Deepika added, "Padmavati wouldn't have been possible if I hadn't been through the Leela experience or Mastani experience. All of those experiences have enabled me to do what I have done in this film."
