Case of ban on Sreesanth to be heard by SC on Feb 5th

New Delhi, Feb 02: Cricketer S Sreesanth appealed in Supreme court against the verdict of Kerala High Court which restored life ban on him.

Sreesanth was expecting to play in IPL as his ban was lifted but Kerala High court restored the ban after petition was filed by BCCI against lifting ban on Sreesanth's cricket life.

A bench headed by Chief Justice Dipak Misra directed that the case be listed for hearing before an appropriate bench according to the roster after the matter was mentioned before it.

"List on February 5, 2018 before an appropriate bench, as per roster, subject to removal of defects, if any," the bench, also comprising justices AM Khanwilkar and DY Chandrachud, said.
