President adress Parliament :Hopes Triple Talq bill is passed soon

New Delhi Jan 29: The Budget session of parliament has started and President Ram Nath Kovind is addressing both houses of the parliament. The President is currently highlighting the achievements of the present government.

President has also highlighted the various schemes undertaken by the NDA Government and recalled the prime focus of the current government is the welfare of the farmers and empowerment of women.

He has added that " We have distributed nearly 3.5 Cr gas cylinders for women under Ujala scheme and also built special toilets in schools for girls and in rural areas under Swacch Bharath programme".

President hoped that the Tripple talaq bill would soon be passed by parliament so that Muslim women live dignified women.
