Jio introduces RS 49 plan for Jiophone users

Bangalore Jan 28: Reliance Jio has once again shaken the market by introducing new offers.The company has announced the cheapest data plan for a 28-day validity, offering 1 GB data with a voice free at Rs 49, exclusively for JioPhone users.

Jio said in a statement on Thursday that "Tariffs charged for feature phone users continue to be exorbitant, while their smartphone counterparts on Jio enjoyed free voice calls and high-speed data at the most affordable tariffs ."

Currently, JioPhone users would get 500 MB of data per day for 28 days for Rs 153.The telecom operator has also introduced data add-on sachets for Rs 11, Rs 21, Rs 51and Rs 101.

Jio has added that "The high feature phone tariffs make it impossible for them to even think of using data, let alone avail advanced data services like video calling, mobile video, and mobile applications. Jio has made data affordable for everyone."
