Federer wins his Sixth Australian Open

Melbourne Jan 28: World famous Tennis Player Roger Federer won the Australian Open Grand slam title. He Has won the final against Marin Cilic. The Swiss player had won by scoring 6-2, 6-7, (5-7), 6-3, 3-6, 6-1.

Federer has created a record as it was his sixth Australian Open title and 20th Grand Slam title and became the fourth player after Margaret Court, Serena Williams and Steffi Graf to win 20 or more major singles titles.

He has said that "It's a dream come true and the fairytale continues." The player has won by 5 set victory.The final was played under the Rod Laver Arena roof and the match lasted for three hours and two minutes. Federer looks defensive at the start of the game and has lost some games but has later recovered and clinched the title.
