IPL 11 Auction begins today

Bangalore Jan 27: The Auction of players for the 11 Season would be beginning today in Bangalore and this year auction would be the biggest.From an original pool of 1122, there will be 578 cricketers up for auction. 360 are Indian and the rest overseas players .The list of 578 includes 244 capped players, 332 uncapped and two Associates players. A total of 182 players can be purchased.
Base price
36 players have a higher base price that is above RS 2 CR and 13 are Indians. R Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal, Shikhar Dhawan, Gautam Gambhir, Kedar Jadhav, Dinesh Karthik, Murali Vijay, Ajinkya Rahane, KL Rahul, Karn Sharma, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh and Robin Uthappa have a higher base prize above RS 2 CR.
The Auction would be intresting as two teams Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings would be returning after the 2 year ban and the teams would like to pickup best players possible.
