Australian Open :Bopanna and Timea Babos enter Finals

Melbourne Jan 26: Indian player Rohan Bopanna and his partner Timea Babos have entered the final of Mixed double in the Australian Open Tennis Tournament.

The Indo-Hungarian pair defeated Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez and Marcelo Demoliner to progress into the final of the first grand slam of the year. Rohan Bopanna-Timea Babos won their semi-final clash 7-5, 5-7, (10-6).

The players will now face Mate Pavic and Gabriela Dabrowski for the title on Saturday. Bopanna had won French Open Mixed Doubles with his Canadian Gabriela Dabrowski.

Babos had already won the women's doubles title.
Dabrowski has reached the final with Croatian Mate Pavic after beating Bruno Soares and Ekaterina Makarova 6-1 6-4 in the other semifinal.
