Union Governments announces for ease of doing business

New Delhi Jan 26: Union Government has announced some more initiatives to ensure ease of Doing Business in India.

Ministry of Corporate Affairs has said that "a web service RUN under which (reserve unique name), will allow entrepreneurs to reserve a name for their proposed venture besides enabling them to change the name of an existing company".

The ministry has also said that "it will also introduce zero fee for incorporation of all companies with authorized capital of up to Rs 10 lakh. The Director Identification Number (DIN) will also be allotted through the combined SPICe form at the time of an individual's appointment as director".

Sources said that the measures were announced to improve setting up a business in the country and to improve the investment climate so that more people come forward to invest in the country.

Officials added that more measures to improve ease of doing business would be announced in Upcoming Budget session.
