Republic day Parade Highlights -States showcase their culture

NewDelhi Jan 26: The 69 republic day is being grandly celebrated grandly in India and the Republic parade has concluded and Rajpath, many states have displayed their tableaux symbolizing the culture. some of the highlights are

# 2017 marked the completion of 100 years of Sabarmati Ashram and a special tableau was displayed by Gujarat government in which Mathama Gandhi was running Charaka.

# Manipur - the story of Khamba and Thoibi - a tale of youthful love, through the tableau of Manipur.
# Kye Monastery from Himachal Pradesh tableau was displayed
# A creative depiction of Sangat and Pangat - a common mode of obeisance and community social service - is offered in the Punjab tableau

India is celebrating its 69th Republic Day today by showcasing its military prowess, culture, and diversity in the presence of leaders of the 10 ASEAN nations who are attending the event as chief guests.

Earlier Prime Minister Narendra Modi had received JokoWidodo, President, Indonesia, Rodrigo Duterte, President, Philippines,
Lee Hsien Loong, Prime Minister, Singapore, Prayut Chan Ocha, Prime Minister Thailand, Aung San Suu Kyi, State Counsellor, Myanmar, and other ASEAN leaders at the Rajpath.
