Australian Open :Rafel Nadal exits tournament

Melbourne Jan 23: In an unprecedented event the World No 1 player Rafael Nadal has exited the tournamnet after he got retired hurt.The player was facing Marin Cilic in the quarter-final of the men's singles match held at Melbourne Park.

Cilic was leading 3-6, 6-3, 6-7, 6-2, 2-0 and Nadal was forced to leave the game as he couldn't concentarte on the game as he was suffering from lower back pain and he took umpires permission and left the tournament.

Marin Cilic will face Kyle Edmund in Thursday's semi-final of the Australian Open. Nadal had treatment for his pain during the fourth set but couldn't play until the end and got retired in the fifth set.
