PM Modi:Climate Change a global threat

Davos Jan 23: PM Modi had addressed the plenary session of the World Economic Forum and has highlighted the major problems faced by the world today.prime Minister has said that Global warming/climate change, Terrorism are threats to The global world and urged all
countries to come together to address these issues.

PM has also said that "Data is a big asset today and is posing a big challenge and those have the ability to utilize the data are biggest gainers today".

He has added that "Climate change is a huge threat right now, Snow in the Arctic is melting, many islands are sinking or are about to sink."

"To preserve climate, Indian has set an ambitious target of 175 GW power from renewable energy and we have already achieved 33% target" he added.

Modi has also spoken about the difference between 1997 and 2018 when previous PM Devegowda has taken part in the meeting and said a lot has changed.
