Karni Sena :Ready to watch Padmavat but Bhansali must specify date

Lucknow Jan 23: The Rajput Karni Sena on Monday has said that it was open to watch the Bollywood upcoming film padmavat. Earlier the Group had opposed the release of the film and have resorted to violence as they felt that movie has distorted the history of the Rajput queen padmavati.

Sena leader Lokendra Singh Kalvi has said that "We are ready to watch the film. We never said that we will not watch the film. The filmmaker had assured us one year ago that he will go for a special screening and now he has written for the screening and we are ready for that.But he has not told the date and he is a cheat.Last time he called the media but he didn't show the film".

Padmavat is a film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and it stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor in lead roles. The film is expected to release on Jan 25.
