Mistake by university or student; KU fails all; Students Protest

Kashmir University declared results of more than 7,000 students and it was a shocking experience for all students as according to university all students failed.

Students protested against this and demanded that their answer sheets must be shown to them. They even said that they do not want re-evaluation or rechecking but wanted to see their answer sheets first.

"We want to see our papers first. How can all the students fail? I think they have lost the answer sheets," one of the students said.

Due to mass failure Students from several colleges assembled at the Maulana Azad Road in Srinagar and blocked the traffic, demanding they be given back the papers they had written for their first semester examinations last year, they said.

Police fired tear smoke shells on Monday to disperse a group of female students who were protesting against Kashmir University authorities.

The university spokesperson said that maybe they have not filled the OMR sheet correctly due to which this result came.

"it will take at least 15 days to correct and assess their OMR sheets and declare their results." was added by a spokesperson.
