Dhadak new poster with new release date out

A new poster of Dhadak – starring Bollywood debutants Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor has come out with a new release date.

The film went on floors last year in Udaipur with one big schedule already wrapped up. It was slated for a July 6, 2018 release date. However, the makers have now revealed the new release date as July 20, 2018, pushing it by two weeks. The film had a solo release on 6th as well and in fact no Bollywood projects have been officially announced for the month of July 2018 as yet. So we wonder what made the makers change the date to this new one.

The film is the Hindi remake of Marathi film Sairat. It was a heartwrenching, tragic love story that went on to become critically acclaimed and a commercial hit as well.
