Aadhar card = Debit/Credit Card

New Delhi December 3 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced that people have to pay the transaction via on-line in a particular statement. From this perspective, Modi government working very hardly towards the cashless transactions.
From now, Aadhar cardholders can use their cards for Debit or Credit money.
For Electronic transactions, Aadhar card holders need to enter their aadhar number and go through a IRIS scanner or finger-print.
The bio-metric authentication ability of Aadhaar will be enhanced from the present 10 crore to 40 crore a day says Ajay Bhushan Pandey, CEO of UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) ,he also stated the Aadhaar related transactions will be handled with top most privacy .
He also assured that all Aadhaars can be linked with AEPS(Aadhaar Enabled Payment System) and bank accounts can be used for balance inquiry, credits, funds transfer etc.
In coming days, an Android mobile app will be launched to enable cashless transactions for all the Aadhaar card-holders, said Amitabh Kant, NITI Aayog CEO
With-in 15 days, the proposed app will be available which allow mobile phones with in-built (or) external fingerprint and retina scanners to facilitate the transactions.
