Hyderabadi Company to set up LED TV manufacturing unit

Hyderabad, Jan 20: The Hyderabad-based SUNRIO Technologies Pvt Limited will set up LED TV manufacturing unit with an investment of Rs 20 crores at Medchal near here.

The investment in LED TV manufacturing unit is likely to create 100 jobs, the company Managing Director G Venu said in a press conference here on Friday.

The TV manufacturing unit is one among the 3 such units in South India, he said the unit is likely to come up in next one year and the company manufactures 13 variants from 16 inches to 65 inches 4K ultra HD LED TV, price ranging from Rs 6,000 to 1.19 lakh.

Our initial capacity of the unit is 800 TVs per day and we will expand it depending on the demand, he informed that our price was much lower than branded TV products and no compromise in the quality.

Our first product will formally launching at the all India MSME World Expo 2018 to be held in Hyderabad from January 27 to 28 and out of the components using in the TVs, 70 percent are localisation, he added
