Funeral of Babu held after postmortem; Pawan Hans chopper crash

ONGC employee V Bindulal Babu's family in Mumbai received his body on Friday morning. Body of Babu was recovered five days after the Pawan Hans chopper crash and on sixth day was handed over to the family after postmortem.

His funeral was held at Evershine City crematorium in Vasai (East) in the afternoon.

Babu's body, the last to be recovered from sea, was sent for post-mortem on Thursday to Cooper hospital in Vile Parle, from where it was transported to his house in Evershine Solitaire complex, Vasai, on Friday morning.

Babu, who worked with the ONGC as deputy general manager, is survived by wife Shyni, 42, and two childrens.
