PM Modi urges Police to give highest priority to cyber crimes

NewDelhi Jan 9: PM Modi has held discussions with all the top police officers in the country and suggested some measures.He has urged the cops to tackle the growing menace of cyber crime.

PM has addressed the Director Generals of Police (DGP) and Inspector General of Police (IGP) conference organized by the Intelligence Bureau (IB) at Tekanpur in Madhya Pradesh.Speaking at the conference PM has said that "Cyber security issues should be dealt with immediately, and should receive the highest priority."



He added that "Just as openness is getting increased acceptance worldwide, there is a need for greater openness among states too, on security issues. security cannot be achieved selectively, or alone. But breaking of silos and information sharing among states can help make everyone more secure."
