SC to reconsider on National Anthem Song in Cinemas

New Delhi, Jan 09: As we knew that, National Anthem has been playing in the cinema halls right now, In this regard, the central government has urged the Supreme Court to reconsider its order of making the National Anthem being mandatory in cinema halls before the screening of films.

On Monday, the Centre said that an inter-ministerial committee is being asked to look into the matter, reports said.



The government has said that it will take a call once the committee submits its recommendations in six months. However, the National Anthem will be played mandatorily in cinema halls until further order.
