Fifth fire accident in Mumbai; Fire in Court premises

Mumbai, Jan 09: Fifth fire incident in the Mumbai city over the past two weeks has occured. A fire broke out at Mumbai Sessions Court premises located at Karamveer Bhaurao Marg on Monday. Five fire engines were pressed into service to douse the flames.

No casualties were reported in the incident so far.

The fire was brought under control in time, however, the reason for fire is not known yet.

Earlier on Sunday, a fire broke out on the first floor of Shiv Shakti building at Lower Parel. On January 6, a technician was killed after massive fire engulfed Cinevista studio in east central Mumbai.

Last week, at least four of a family were charred to death after fire broke out at the Maimoon Manzil building on late January 3. On December 28, 14 persons were killed after massive fire engulfed Kamala Mills compound.
