Agnyathavasi team fined with Rs.20 crores

Hyderabad, Jan 06: In a plagiarism row, Agnyathavasi is in neck-deep tensions. Slated to hit the theaters on 10th January, Agnyathavasi is the most-awaited movie of the season. When the makers were all set for the movie release, these plagiarism tensions have triggered.

Agnyathavasi is a direct copy of the French movie- The Heir Apparent Largo Winch. The news broke out soon after a few scenes from the Agnyathavasi resembled that of the original movie. T-series has bought the official rights to the French movie Largo Winch.

In this frame of context, there were issues between Agnyathavasi makers and the T-series company. It turns out to be true that Agnyathavasi has been copied from the French movie and hence T-Series has slammed the production house Haarika & Haasinee with a whopping amount of Rs.20 Crores.

Earlier, Trivikram Srinivas was slammed for copying the story of a Telugu novel for his movie, but he covered it up cleverly then. Seems it has become a bigger issue this time. Must see how the makers will deal with the situation now.

Pawan Kalyan is to appear as Abhijith Bhargav in this movie which is tagged as- Prince In Exile. Anu Emmanuel and Keerthy Suresh are the female leads.
