Twitter flooded with Birthday wishes for Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone who started her career in Bollywood with high-profile debut movie which starred none other than King Khan himself has come a long way.

Om Shanti Om was huge success and it gave a big break to Deepika. After the success of Om Shanti Om Deepika was flooded with offers. Deepika has been a versatile actress and has echoed different roles.

Today, on January 5th the actress has turned 31 years old. She was wished by many Bollywood actors and her fans. Twitter flooded with wishes for Deepika.
Deepika was herself a sports enthusiast and played badminton during teenage days under her father's guidance. She left her graduation midway to pursue a career in modelling at the age of 18.

It was music director-singer Himesh Reshammiya who gave Deepika her first break in the showbiz world with his music video titled, Naam Hai Tera. It was then director-choreographer Farah Khan who noticed her and cast her in Om Shanti Om.
